Katherine Heigl shares how growing up as a child in a 'white bubble' changed the way she raised her adoptive family of multiracial origins. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl revealed she was not concerned about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. "I asked my sister, Meg to tell me if she'd been treated one way while going out with us parents, and another way when she went out alone without them. Heigl said she got upset and believed it was important to focus her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl and her 13-year-old husband -- the singer Josh Kelley -- have an infant son, aged 4 years old. Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl who adopted in the year 2012.
