She was born March 29th 1985 in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birthname. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is Mexican and American. Her desire to play sports began as a small child. Gerina first started golfing at 15 years of age. Gerina graduated from high school through Goddard High School. In high school, she won in the New Mexico golf state tournament. Her volleyball skills were also acknowledged at the national scale. She attended Texas's University of Texas, Texas during the 2003 academic year. Through the latter period of her career she was the winner of every event where she played.
